Hydraulic valve pressure flow characteristics is also an important indicator to measure the performance of a hydraulic valve. By comparing the pressure flow characteristics, the design performance can be preliminarily judged.

In general, the flow through the hydraulic valve (such as rated flow) the pressure loss generated by the smaller the better, the same pressure loss through the flow the more the better. Measuring the pressure flow characteristics of hydraulic valves can be compared with each valve of the same size. The smaller the pressure loss through the same flow, the better the performance, and the greater the flow through the same pressure difference.
